Acupuncture

This form is healing dates back thousands of years. Using fine sterile needles, the practitioner targets the acupressure points on the clients body. This alternative therapy can work for pain, insomnia and addictions such as drug and alcohol.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is an ancient art of healing with aromatic materials, including essential oils, to improve psychological or physical well-being. Essential oils are specifically blended to your needs and then used to massage the body easing aches and pains from stored tensions. 

This massage therapy is perfect to soothe, calm or revitalise your body. 

Counselling

With the stresses of daily life increasing over lockdown it is more important than ever to look after your mental health and wellbeing. 

We have a number of experienced and understanding counsellors who can offer long and short-term help. Our Counsellors can help with a range of problems with relationships, depression, bereavement, abuse, stress, self-confidence, drug and alcohol addiction. All our counselling sessions are treated in a safe and confidential environment. 

Youth Counselling

It is common among young people to struggle with how you feel. This could be from problems at school, with friends or family. It could be feelings of anxiousness, depression or fear. Talking therapy is a great way to understand your emotions and feelings in a confidential setting without judgement. 

Schools Counselling

We work with a number of local schools to offer counselling programs to those in need. 

Ear Candling 

Ear candles have a physical function that uses a flame to create a light suction and vibration in the air of the ear candle which generates a massage-like effect on the eardrum. 

It is a soothing treatment which is helpful for earache, headache, ear noise, stress and nervousness. 

Foot Health Care

Our Foot Health Care Practitioner treats a range of common foot health problems such as bunions, corns and calluses. Our practitioner can also help with general footcare such as cutting nails, removing hard skin, treating veruccas, in-growing nails to help prevent pain when clients are moving around.

Herbal Medicine

The practice of Herbal Medicine uses plant remedies in there many forms to treat a range of diseases and problems. Our Herbalist uses Herbal Medicine to bring about health and vitality in the gentlest way.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is one of the most widely used forms of medicine in the world. It is ideal for treating mental, emotional, and physical illness. Remedies are made specifically with characteristics for each client’s need.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is perfect for relaxing and releasing stress, headaches and eye strain. It can also help to improve circulation and concentration. Massage and pressure techniques are applied to the neck, arms, shoulders and head to relieve tensions.

McTimoney Chiropractic Therapy

McTimoney Chiropractic Therapy involves making gentle adjustments the bodies framework, including the bones and muscles, to ensure the spine is aligned and the nerve supply works correctly. These adjustments are made using the therapist’s hands with a non-invasive and gentle technique.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy aims to improve and restore normal body movement and function after an injury, an episode of pain or chronic aches and pains.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a gentle non-invasive therapy to aid tension and stress related conditions such as IBS. The sensitive hands of our qualified therapists detect tiny deposits of imbalances in the feet which indicate blockages or depletion in the energy channels. These are released by the therapists who apply gentle pressure to these points with their fingers and thumbs. 

Reiki

Reiki is a powerful form of alternative healing that uses energy to boost the body’s own healing system. It is good for accelerating the healing of physical and emotional pain. Practitioners use palm or hands on healing which transfers universal energy through to the client. This can involve some light touch over the client’s clothes.

Shiatsu

Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine a Shiatsu massage uses touch and finger pressure to release tension, aches and pains. The Shiatsu massage is a relaxing experience which is tailored to the individuals needs.

Sports & Physical Therapy

Sports Therapy focuses on using advanced techniques to breakdown fibrous adhesions/scar tissue which occur in the muscle fibres during an injury. 

Physical Therapy is aimed at anyone with a soft tissue injury. It helps to restore a range of movements including muscle and joint function. It can be used to treat frozen shoulder, whiplash, tennis elbow, Achilles heel and carpal tunnel, as well as many more.

Therapeutic (Swedish) Massage

The Therapeutic massage is a deep tissue massage which uses neuro-muscular techniques to aid mild sports injuries, frozen shoulder and back ache. It also uses soft tissue massage to ensure the release of tense, knotted muscles.
